Job Title: Agronomy Custom Applicator
Location: Watertown, SD (All Locations)
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $20.00 to $27.00 per hour (based on experience), plus benefits, Acre Bonus
(Acre bonus .35 cent - .50 cent per acre depending on application. Average acres per day 575 acres)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Extended seasonal hours and overtime as needed)

Key Responsibilities:

Obtain and maintain a Commercial Applicator License.

Apply fertilizer and crop protection products with precision and care.

Deliver excellent customer service, building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and coworkers.

Assist with the maintenance and repair of applicator equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Provide support in the Grain Department as needed.

Follow instructions carefully and effectively implement tasks as directed.

Operate equipment safely, in compliance with all DOT requirements.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry 50 to 75 lbs.

Comfortable working in an environment with chemicals

Capable of performing physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or GED required; or one year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial application preferred.

Current Applicator License or ability to obtain one.

A valid Class A CDL is preferred but not required.

Strong work ethic with a commitment to quality and safety.
